A Balearic storm – A little dramatic night photography in Mallorca

A recent photograph of a thunder cloud illuminated by the lightning off the east coast of Mallorca.

We had to stop the car and capture this natural spectacle. If you’ve ever witnessed a storm in the Balearics you’ll know how dramatic it can be. This storm had passed overhead and judging from our location when taking this photograph, this storm was now pretty much over the island of Menorca.
