Valldemossa
One of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca is Valldemossa high in the Tramuntana mountains. You pass through it on the way to Deia. The beauty of the village, nestled in the Tramuntana, has to be seen to be believed. Alongside Deia and Banyalbufar, the villages here on the island do not get any more beautiful.
At the bottom of the village is the Esglesia Sant Bartomeu where the latest wedding shoot was held. Narrow street, cobbled roads and a rustic feel makes photographing locations like these an absolute pleasure.
Esglesia Sant Bartomeu
We were commissioned to photograph our latest wedding by Alexandra, who was born here on the island of Mallorca. She left when she was nine years of age to live in England. Deciding upon her beloved Mallorca for her wedding, we had the honour of photographing at Sant Bartomeu Church, built in the thirteenth century, shortly after the conquest by Jaume I.
After the ceremony at this beautiful church, we walked through the ancient streets of one of the most beautiful villages on the island. our first wedding to be shot here and we do hope we are back soon.
