Montenegro

A wedding commission in a beautiful part of the world. An opportunity to capture the best from travel and work. Before traveling over the border to Montenegro we had the opportunity of spending a night in Dubrovnik in Croatia. Our decision to stay here was rewarded. It was more beautiful than we imagined. After discovering the walk around the city pn the ancient ramparts we headed down to the bustling streets where you can take your pick from many excellent restaurants which have taken advantage of all the tourists who are flocking here.

Kotor

Working our way down the Adriatic from Dudrovnik, Croatia, we have reached the ancient walled city of Kotor in Montenegro where we’ll be for the next six nights before we return to Dubrovnik and then to Menorca. The ancient town and it’s location on the lake is beautiful. It has been described as Europe’s most southerly fjord. It does however attract large cruise ships due to the proximity of the lake to the Adriatic Sea.

The town does therefore have waves of tourists which descend in droves at certain times of the day. This did not detract from our exquisite shoot with the exquisite bride. The ceremony was held in one of the many ancient churches in Kotor. Then a promenade through the streets to a lakeside restaurant to watch the sun set behind the backdrop of the black mountains.

A beautiful location which we never tire of looking back at. This was a breathtaking trip. A glimpse of the area whilst we were working. It is a place we will head back to when we have time to explore the area.
