Still Life Photography

Personal projects are a healthy part of any artists life and photography should be no exception to this rule. We have been in the studio developing out still life portfolios. Some of the wild Mallorcan flowers with their texture and colour are captivating under artificial light.

We’ve been in the studio this week perfecting our lighting with plants that have not survived the winter. The colours in these plants are subtle and incredibly beautiful. Soon the life will be returning to the island of Mallorca and we will be looking forward to the forthcoming wedding season on the island. There’s still available dates in the diary for twenty fifteen weddings, so if you need us to capture your special wedding day on the island, please get in touch.

The beautiful colours that show in the plants at this time of the year are so beautiful, but equally the plants which did not survive the winter. We have gathered and photographed some in the studio and they are equally as beautiful. The almond blossom is now returning to the trees and spring is definitely in the air. This time of year is particularly nice on Mallorca as the high heat has not returned and everything looks so vividly lush and green. In April the wedding season begins and we will be in full flow, photographing weddings in Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca.
