Binifadet

Binifadet, on the island of Menorca, is a vineyard, wine seller and distributor. The architectural build is modern with polished concrete floors and large glass sliding panel doors. Huge steel storage and processing vats are amongst the public areas of the restaurant and selling spaces. Last year the vineyard extended their space to accommodate the enquiries for the vineyard to be used as a wedding venue.

Now it is fully operational, and what a venue! The wedding breakfast and ceremony for this wedding was held outside. Set amongst the small undulating terrain near Sant Lluis, the guests had exclusivity to Binifadet. The thirty seven guests relaxed in the enclosed courtyard, shaded by the vines which grow everywhere here. The venue is perfect. architecturally stunning but with a secluded area downstairs to host the noisiest party. Sound proofed by industrial sliding doors in a basement area where the build is cut into the bed rock. It is also where the wine is stored in perfect temperature controlled spaces.

We had great fun here playing with the modern space, light flooding in from all sides. The industrial doors allowed us to capture and control the light perfectly. It reminded us very much of working in our own studio. With our own photographic studio lights on location, we were able to make the most from the architecture. The couple specified a different capture, away from the more obvious romantic photographs, which we could have supplied in the vineyard outside. This was all about the couple within the modern build, with dramatic lighting to create a contemporary feel.

Here is an overview of some of the photographs from this Menorca wedding. Visit our Portfolio section soon to get more from this wedding at Binifadet. If you want extraordinary value for money for your wedding, then you should take a drive down to Sant Lluis before you book any other wedding venue on Menorca.
