Son Temet Villa
On the road to Fornells, Son Parc and the rugged north of the island of Menorca there is a beautiful villa tucked away under the shade of the pine trees. Son Temet is remote although located not far from the main road. As you wind your way up through the cluster of trees the villa presents itself on the crest of a small hill. Here was to be the wedding of Constance and Aumery. A french wedding party from Lille had arrived for a wedding in the month of October. For us the perfect month to get married here on the island. Although the sun sets at around 7 pm, the temperatures remain comfortably high without being oppressive.
The villa has mature gardens and patio areas for the ceremony and dining and so everything at Son Temet lends itself to a beautiful celebration in the rural countryside of Menorca. Certainly the hard core of the wedding party was awake until 5 am. I was there celebrating and photographing the whole day and evening. It was an ideal location to let your hair down without disturbing anyone in the near vicinity.
